? This was a hilarious mess.
Only did it because it was the closest/shortest and I wanted to try to do an FKT every month this year, and I’m nearly out of time for January.
Thought to bring my spikes, found them, but realized I’d forgotten them by the front door when I got to the trail. They definitely would have helped. ?
Set out to do a preview jog because I’ve never been here, but realized I didn’t think I’d be able to run well without spikes so I started to walk… then figured, what the hell, I’ll just do it as fast I can. So ran just one loop, in a long jacket, and got it! ? I’ll come back sometime with spikes or when it’s not snowy/icy to do the 2 lap FKT &/or improve my 1 lap time.
