Serene landscapes, adorned with picturesque lakes offered a delightful running experience. The undulating terrain provided an engaging mix of ascents and descents, making it a good short course for trail enthusiasts.
The day of my performance, the entire path was encased in ice, significantly impeding and complicating the journey. I tackled the icy terrain wearing Salomon Thundercross shoes, which, although reliable, fell short in providing adequate traction for such conditions. In hindsight, selecting Spikecross shoes would have been the optimal choice, offering better grip and stability on the slippery surfaces.
