We (Andrew and Andrea) Completed Nolans 14 going northbound Self Supported. For Andrea this set a new Female Self Supported record for Nolans 14, and it is the only Mixed Gender completion of Nolans 14 that we are aware of.
We completed the entire thing on our own without any external support. We had a few gear/food caches that we set up in advance at some of the standard resupply points (Baldwin Gulch, Avalanche Trailhead, Winfield, and Echo Canyon). We got water from streams along the way.
This was a complete team effort. We spent countless hours scouting the course together, carefully choosing the route that would play to both of our strengths (we prefer easy scrambling to extra elevation gain on easier terrain--thus we stayed on some more difficult ridge sections rather than dropping down). We both carried our own gear, and took turns setting the pace out front and caring for each other when the other had a low.
