Perfect weather! Missed the yellow trail cut off after summiting Mt. Anna, adding at 10-20 minutes extra- oops! (I didn't even want to check how much time I "lost" at that point, knowing that I might be tempted to ruminate about it the rest of the day.)
Saw one deer, two orange salamanders, and lots of lady slippers. Also spotted Carl, Papa John, and Honey on their hike from Belknap (did NOT receive any support from them), although Honey (my dog) did Piper and Whiteface with me.
1.8 liters unflavored Tailwind in the 12L VaporHowe vest, one Spring energy gel, and some water in soft flasks was the perfect amount for the day.
