Started around 9:30am, sunny skies and about 40 degrees. The trail was covered in water for about 40-50% of it, and there was a pretty tough head wind at the open plateau section. Definitely feel like sub 40 minutes is very achievable in good conditions. The trail also becomes hard to follow in some places so ended up adding a little extra mileage too! Trail also gets quite technical in places.
