I ran unsupported from the farthest Western end of National Trail at the "You Are Now Entering the Phoenix Mountains Preserve" sign off of Estrella Drive to the Pima Canyon Trailhead on the very Eastern end of National Trail before turning around to head back. I did fill my camelbak at the drinking fountain at the Pima Canyon Trailhead but my understanding is that is still considered unsupported.
