Description

The Hertogenpad (the dukes path) is a special combination of greenery and conviviality. The 238 kilometer long path leads you past welcoming Brabant villages, dust, sand and peat swamps, over purple heathlands and sometimes swampy bat paths. The walking route from Breda to Roermond is a special series of beautiful nature reserves such as the Loonse and Drunense dunes, the Maashorst and the Groote Peel. It is one of the LAW paths in the Netherlands (long distance hiking) and is also called LAW 13 (picture). The route starts at Kasteelplein close to the Queen Wilhelmina Paviljoen in Breda, and ends at the central station in Roermond.
