The 18 km long mountain trail leads in the border area of Bavaria and Tyrol from the Willersalpe (1.456m) to the Prinz-Luitpold-Haus (1.846m). It leads past a series of magnificent mountain peaks and a beautiful mountain lake, the Schrecksee. The “Jubiläumsweg” was created in the years 1898/99 by the DAV Section Allgäu Immenstadt on the occasion of its 25th anniversary.

This route includes supplementary the ascent from the valley village Hinterstein (hiking parking lot "Auf der Höh") to the Willersalpe, where the "Jubiläumsweg" official starts. Futhermore this route leads downward from the official end of the "Jubiläumsweg" at the Prinz-Luitpold-Haus to the Giebelhaus in the valley. Form there there is a bus connection back to the starting point in Hinterstein. The TH-to-TH route is about 25km.

The entire trail is well marked with signs and markings.
