The Link Trail follows the old stock route from Yarraman to Nanango for 21km, then Nanango to Kingaroy is a distance of 34km along quiet country backroads. The whole journey can be recognised by the blue and white bicycle signs along the way.
A Combination of hard packed dirt road and sealed roads, Yarraman to Nanango is mostly dirt road with sealed roads closer to Nanango.
From Nanango to Kingaroy starts with cement pathway heading out of Nanango then it is predominantly sealed roads, with one large stretch of hard dirt in the middle.
Good tree coverage at the start (Yarraman) for the first 15km, then it opens up and is exposed, with little shade for the remaining distance.
