I, Jamieson Hatt, will attempt an unsupported, out and back attempt of the maitland trail this Saturday, Sept 13/19. I will be starting in Auburn bright and early. I will carry all my food and a lot of water. There is a public bathroom in Goderich right by the rail at the halfway point that I can use to fill up my bladder with water. Here’s my live tracking link. https://share.garmin.com/JamiesonHatt

Hello, I am hoping that some can confirm a part of the FKT route just past Falls Reserve Conservation Area for me. Does the route take the Maitland Side Trail then along the road instead of following the main trail and snaking along the river?

Thank you in advance!
