Description

The Danube River flows from its source in Donaueschingen in Germany’s Black Forest all the way to the Black Sea on the Romanian coast.

This particular route starts at the source and follows the river along a dedicated cycle path, all the way to the heart of Vienna. A total distance of 565.91 miles (or 910.74km).

A relatively flat course takes you through two countries and show cases their beautiful countryside. There are multiple towns along the route allowing you to make specific put stops should you choose to complete this course self supported. The course is also easily Accessible for a support crew to travel alongside you as roads are near by making it a good long distance FKT route.
