Route: Walensee Runde (Switzerland)

The scenic route around the lake Walensee.

High Route:  Starting at the river Linth at the west shore, the route first goes south and uphill, taking a higher route on the south shore to avoid the tar road. Dropping down to the shore close to Walenstadt, the route then follows the low trails on the road-free north shore back to the river Linth.  About 53km / 2630m elevation gain.

Low Route:  Staying as close to Walensee as feasible.  The route follows roads around the south side, and the same trail along the north shore. 38.6km, 1126m elevation gain.
