Description

Boracay — well known all over the world for being one of the most beautiful islands boasting of the clearest blue waters and powdery white sand, is a fun and easy traverse for runners visiting the Philippines.

Started at sunrise with a foot in the water by the shore of the Port of Manoc-Manoc where there were fishermen heading out for their morning catch. Headed straight to Boracay Jetty Port Rd turning right past the Malay Tourist Police Station. Ran straight with some roads going downhill through the small town then turning left to Boracay Highway S and towards the Boracay Rotunda. Quickly turning right to Boracay Highway central through the main town of Boracay passing the busier area of D'mall and a big sign of Boracay. Lots of shops along the way. Ran straight for about 3kms until the road started to curve upwards. Boracay Highway Central has a few more curves and a few hilly roads going through the little towns around the island as I headed toward Yapak. Then lastly I turned left on the road towards Puka Beach where I ended the 8.9km run with another foot in the ocean.
