Description

The course starts in Neheim in Hochsauerland county, going in eastern direction through the Arnsberg forest nature park. The Möhne reservoir ist passed on its south-side. After crossing the city Warstein the course heads north, leaving the Sauerland for crossing the Haarhöhe-ridge by RĂĽthen. Turning north-east now the course enters the Paderborn Plateau by BĂĽren and crosses the BĂĽren forest nature reserve before it approaches the city of Paderborn.  

The lowest point of the course is at 119 m above standard zero, the highest at 421 m above standard zero. Most of the course runs on unpaved dirt roads and forest paths, its accessible troughout the whole year. The whole course is marked by the white on black "X26" sign.
